Recent Projects:

Flinn Engineering is a small, woman-owned, veteran-owned civil engineering firm located in Highland, Illinois.  Kelly Simpson and Lori Gallion are the founding members of Flinn Engineering, which began operation in March 2015.  Ms. Simpson has worked in the engineering industry in the St. Louis area since 1993 with most of her experience being in the drinking water sector.  She spent the first half of her career working for American Water where she gained extensive experience in several aspects of operating water systems of various sizes across the states of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Ohio.  Ms. Gallion has a GIS background which she gained while serving in the US Army for 20 years.  Although we are a young firm, we have established relationships with Missouri American Water, Illinois American Water, local municipalities, and other consulting firms in the area.  Our other employees include part-time and seasonal employees with experience in water system maintenance, operation, and construction inspection.
